The camera I&#8217;m using is a Canon A710 IS modified with CHDK. <\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_392\" style=\"width: 630px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/bardagjy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/2011-05-25-19.25.38.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-392\" src=\"http:\/\/bardagjy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/2011-05-25-19.25.38.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"USB Release\" width=\"610\" class=\"size-full wp-image-392\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-392\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">CHDK Remote Release<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I built a simple USB remote release based on the schematics found on <a href=\"http:\/\/chdk.wikia.com\/wiki\/USB_Remote_Cable\">this page<\/a>. I added a power LED so I hopefully don&#8217;t leave it on. I used my pocketknife to cut out a crude board in a scrap of copper clad FR1. <\/p>\n<p>Seems to work ok, should have a teardown up shortly using the new rig.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I put together a rig to document what runs across my desk, so hopefully more posts in the future!
